Mon - Fri, 08.30 - 17.30 - On site at Birmingham Business Park, Solihull

Salary circa £24,486 per annum

Job Purpose

This role is based in a call centre, working as part of the inspection and collection team within Customer Services. You will be contacting customers on behalf of a major client at the end of their contract to arrange the inspection and collection of their vehicles.

Contact customers on behalf of B2B clients to arrange the inspection and collection of their vehicles at the end of their contract.
Confirm appointments and requirements with customers prior to their inspection and collection.
Create and amend inspections and collections on BCAL and B2B clients’ systems, ensuring all information is accurately entered.
Ensure customer details are up-to-date and accurate.
Update systems with all customer contact points and vehicle statuses to ensure accurate reporting to the client.
Communicate with customers in writing to confirm booking details.
Handle inbound and outbound calls, providing accurate information and advice to customers regarding the end-of-contract process.
Collaborate with internal departments to ensure that customer enquiries are dealt with promptly and effectively.
Perform any other ad hoc duties required by the Customer Service team on behalf of the B2B customer base.


Skills & Experience


Strong customer service focus with high standards of customer service ethics.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Professional telephone manner.
Good listening skills with the ability to accurately capture information.
Strong team player.
Highly motivated with the ability to work to strict SLAs.
Accurate and efficient data entry skills.
IT literate with the ability to use multiple systems.
Organised with excellent time management skills.
At least one year of customer service experience.
Experience in a contact centre environment is advantageous.
