We are currently supporting a local food manufacture with the recruitment of an assistant farm harvest manager to assist our field harvest manager and assistant farm manager, ensuring the harvest of quality produce in an efficient, cost – effective manner while promoting the welfare and discipline of our team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate from an agriculture or business management background.

Key Accountabilities:
• Execute crop harvesting in accordance with customer specifications.
• Supervise crop husbandry to maintain health and productivity.
• Train new team members in harvest and husbandry standards.
• Conduct quality control and maintain product integrity.
• Mange harvest records and oversee packaging control.
• Supervise team welfare and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.

Essential Qualifications:
• Proven experience in agriculture management or related field.
• Strong understanding of crop management and harvesting techniques.
• Excellent organisational and leadership abilities.
• Full driving licence and car owner due to the location of the role you will also need to visit other sites in the Nottinghamshire/Lincolnshire area

Skills and Competencies:
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage a diverse team with a hands-on approach.
• Proficiency in record keeping and regulatory compliance.
• Adept in the use of farming equipment and safety protocols.
