Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting alongside a Local Authority in the Greater Manchester area, who are looking for a Legal Assistant to join their Children's Team. They are offering a great opportunity for candidates with experience or those with a law degree wishing to gain entry level experience as a Legal Assistant to apply.
ROLE: Childcare Legal Assistant
RATE: £15-£20ph
BASED: Manchester - Hybrid working
CONTRACT LENGTH: 6 Months ongoing
The Role/ Responsibilities
- They will work alongside a Senior Legal Assistant undertaking Childcare proceedings.
- Requesting and filing evidence, answering calls, booking Counsel.
- Drafting and preparing Bundles
- Working and supporting Lawyers on Childcare matters.
The Person
- Experience within Childcare Law is a benefit but the council is open to candidates with a law degree / LPC / bar finals passed, looking to gain entry level experience
- Great communication skills, written and oral.
- Prompt, organised and efficient.
