Leafield House Nursery in Leeds provides exceptional indoor and outdoor learning facilities for children from 0-5 years old. They have immaculate well structured rooms with hand designed furnishings and natural finishes. A warm welcoming environment that encourages development through play and exploration.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to further your career in Early Years at this immaculate nursery in Leeds. It is essential that you have either Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification to be considered for this role.
Depending on your current qualification you will work towards the Level 3 or Level 5 Early Years qualification.
This is a full-time role which will require flexibility between the hours 7.30am-6pm Monday-Friday. Contracted for 40 hours per week.
During your working day you will:
Protect and promote the health and well-being of children
Ensure that safeguarding procedures are followed
Promote positive relationships in the early years setting
Support children’s learning and development through play
Be a key person to a small group of children and build positive relationships with their families
Monitor children’s progress to ensure they reach their developmental targets
Plan and create activities which keep children engaged throughout the day
Enable children to become more independent
Help prepare children for the transition into school life
We are looking for candidates that have prior experience and qualifications in early Years who want to further their career and can:
Communicate well and be a good role model.
Work as part of a team and inspire outstanding practice.
Act professionally in all situations.
Have knowledge of the EYFS and Safeguarding requirements.
Work on your own initiative.
Keep high standard of hygiene practices around the nursery

Entry requirements
It is essential that you have a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in early years and relevant experience.
Maths and English Grade 4 is desirable
