Mobile Caretaker

Stoke on Trent

£23,835
- £25,090 per year
40 hours per week – Monday to Friday – 7:30am – 4:00pm

We have an opportunity for a Mobile Caretaker to join our Estate Services team, based in Stoke-on-Trent covering 25 Schemes in the Stoke and Staffordshire area. As a Mobile Caretaker you will be responsible for maintaining communal areas of our sheltered, supported living and general needs properties. The role of Mobile Caretaker will involve working in a team of two with some lone working and you will have a company van for business use only.

The role of Mobile Caretaker will include:

- Undertaking general labour tasks and repairs such as repairing of fences and gates, paving, painting and plastering of small areas
- Working with customers to identify and report faults, resolving issues and improving services
- Completing all documents and paperwork concerning tasks completed
- Ensuring tools and equipment are maintained in a suitable condition


Skills and experiences:

- Experience in a similar role or completing similar tasks
- Some experience of working to deadlines and prioritising work loads
- Working knowledge of Health and Safety legislation
- Practical experience in operating hand tools and light machinery
- Good communication and customer care skills
- Basic computer skills
- This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence
