An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and self-motivated Commercial Performance Analyst to join our team.

As a Performance Analyst the successful applicant will have a "here to help you mentality" with strong planning, organisational and problem-solving skills; attention to detail and an inquisitive mind are essential.

Roles & responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Analysing and interrogating large volumes of data; presenting past performance, forecasting future performance, recognising needs and influencing change for the continual success of our business. Understanding the regulatory requirements that the business operates under is key to this alongside effective stakeholder engagement.

- Improving and maintaining Pricing within our project management system. Analysing stock prices, working with IT to implement changes, maintaining internal and external documentation and continuous engagement with stakeholders.

- Developing and monitoring robust processes to ensure quality, regulatory and statutory compliance with our license obligations, whilst also developing a culture of continuous improvement, driving value and operational excellence; it is paramount that we comply with all regulatory and statutory governance.

- Submission of the regulatory submissions to Ofgem yearly in accordance with Annex G, the regulatory guidance and instructions. Creating, maintaining and issuing dashboards to key stakeholders to track performance against incentives available (for example Time to Quote and Connect ) and the performance of teams within Connections.

What do I need?

To be considered for this role you will need to be a self-starter who is able to read and understand regulatory documents, communicate confidently with colleagues at all levels and be able to work on your own initiative.

To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:

- Previous experience as a performance analyst

- Data analysis and Excel skills and previous experience developing and reporting KPIs and/or external reporting would be beneficial. Power Bi and SQL experience is essential.

- A 'here to help mentality', problem-solving skills, attention to detail and an inquisitive mind are essential.

- An understanding of the Connections business would be highly beneficial.

- Trend reporting and statistics experience would be advantageous however not essential.
