CMA Recruitment Group are working with their growing client based in Andover, Hampshire for the newly created position of Head of Purchase Ledger. This is an exciting time to be joining an innovate company and reporting into the Finance Manager you will play an integral part in making business decisions.

What will the Head of Purchase Ledger role involve?

• Oversee the purchase ledger function.
• Ensuring invoices are processed promptly.
• Payments raised in accordance with terms.
• Ensuring queries are resolved in a professional and timely manner.
• Line management of a Purchase Ledger Assistant, ensuring regular 1-2-1’s and training are provided.
• Provide regular updates and feedback to the Finance Manager on both business and team activities and address any arising issues.
• Collaborate with the Finance Manager for cash flow forecasting, ensuring optimal resource management.


Suitable Candidate for the Head of Purchase Ledger vacancy:

• Ideally a professionally qualified (AAT) or have relevant experience in accounts payable.
• Reliable and conscientious with a hands-on approach.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to process data and information accurately.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word.
• Self-motivated, team player with good communication skills.
• Professional work ethic
• Flexibility and adaptability; able to move with the needs of the business.
