Location: You should be based in and around SL0 9RR
Salary: £15.86 - £18.21 per hour basic and £23.79 - £27.31 Nights and Weekend rate, DOE
Contract: Permanent, Full time
Hours: 40 hours guaranteed, day or night shift, weekend working is a possibility
We are Saferoad VRS and we are recruiting.
We are a leading supplier and installer of Vehicle Restraint Systems including Safety Barrier and Parapet Systems; we are also one of the market leaders installing Environmental Barrier (Acoustic) and General Fencing, working nationwide on secured contracts.
VRS / Parapet Lead Installer - About the role:
You will assume responsibility for the installation of VRS, EB and Fencing to the contract specification and in line with Saferoad, Health and Safety and Quality Assurance Procedures.
In addition to this as our Lead Installer your duties will include:
- Installation and compliance with the correct specification of VRS or another fence being erected.
- Working in accordance with the Method Statement and Risk Assessment for the contract.
- Overseeing works carried out by installers and operatives.
- Ensuring the Site supervisor / managers instructions are implemented.
- Ensuring all permits are in place and that the safe system of work is being properly adhered to.
- Ensuring that all company vehicles and plant are properly inspected, used and defects are recorded and reported.
- Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with co-workers.
VRS / Parapet Lead Installer - The Candidate:
- Blue FISS / CSCS Card - Including Operatives CITB Touch Screen Test, Level Award in Health & Safety, VRS Foundation Course, VRS Installer Course, NVQ Level 2, Propriety and Non-proprietary training such as Mega rail, Vetex or Terminals.
- Gold FISS / CSCS Card.
- Plant training as required by the contract.
- SSSTS Card - Desirable.
