£31,788 - £34,117 / £17.42 - £18.70 per hour (including shift allowance and Distant Islands Allowance)
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Community Learning, Development and Employability Team, for two Employability Keyworkers. As an Employability Keyworker you will work with individuals and organisations to plan, develop and deliver personalised employability support to enable individuals to increase their confidence, skills and knowledge, reach their potential and make positive and sustained future transitions towards their goals.
Applicants should hold a qualification at SCQF 6/7 level (e.g., SVQ3, National Certificate, HNC) in Community Learning and Development or a related area or, where the essential qualification is not held, a minimum of 3 years' previous relevant experience is required.
Experience of working in a Community Learning and Development, Education or Social Care setting is essential.
This post is subject to membership of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme in respect of regulated work with children.
You will be expected to travel efficiently and effectively between various work locations within Orkney to meet the operational requirements of the Service.
