Axiom Home Care is looking for a Support Worker in the Berkhamsted area and surrounding.

We are a nurse-led domiciliary care company dedicated to providing exceptional care services in Hemel Hempstead, Tring, and Berkhamsted - you would be required to travel between these areas. Must have a valid UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle.

What does this Support Worker job involve?

• Hours of Work: 20 Hours Per Week - Various shifts offered between 07:00 - 22:00

• Assist residents with daily activities (personal care, dressing, meals) and mobility.
• Provide emotional support, companionship, and implement behaviour management strategies.
• Administer medication under supervision and monitor/report changes in residents' health or behaviour.
• Drive residents to appointments/outings and maintain a clean, safe environment.

Am I the right person for this Support Worker job?

To be considered for this position you would need:

• A valid UK Drivers Licence and access to your own car
• Previous experience in care, nursing homes, or home care (desirable).
• Knowledge of First Aid procedures.
• The ability to provide patient-centred care with empathy and respect.
• Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with residents, families, and colleagues.
