As a governance manager you will: Act as board secretary Act as a guardian of the core governance documents and policies Support governance development to achieve best governance practiceAbout you You are a highly knowledgeable and organised individual who has experience of providing excellent board secretarial services and governance advice. You will also: have a good understanding of governance best practices, ideally within the charity sector have a pragmatic and strategic approach to your work be skilled at forming positive relationships with key stakeholders at all levels of seniority be highly organised, able to manage up be able to act as a champion of good governance across the organisation, supporting staff to understand the organisations legal and governance obligations whilst finding pragmatic solutions that achieve excellence in governance yet are mindful of organisational pressures and priorities.
