The Best Connection Bedford are currently recruiting for an experienced Stock Control Team Leader for our prestigious client just outside of Bedford. This is an excellent opportunity to work with the existing team to drive operational standards and contribute to the success of our client in their new facility.
Hours : Core shift times are Monday - Friday 08.30 - 17.00 hrs. Flexible working and weekend availability is a must due to the nature of the business Key responsibilities:
Manage the planning, coordinating and monitoring the receipt, and dispatch of goods
Picking, packing and creating inventories for stock items for promotions and special events - on and off site. Supporting the Warehouse Manager and Warehouse team to organise stock within the building for dispatch Adhere to all health and safety practises within the warehouse and loading bay and train staff as required Use MHE and Forklift to load and unload all stock items in and out of the warehouse with care and attention. Manage and give direction to members of the team, provide coaching and guidance where required. Maintain and update all databases and stock control software to the highest level of accuracy. Requirements of the Team Leader Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills Good accuracy and organisational skills Ability to work to target and to tight deadlines Excellent communication skills with the capability to lead and support the team to achieve targets - Operationally and financially Must have a full clean driving license, own transport and valid Counterbalance forklift license.
