Join Avanti Schools Trust as a Retreats Coordinator and collaborate with our Retreats Manager to plan, develop, and host transformative retreats for students and staff. You will organise both UK-based and international retreats, focusing on creating spiritual and character-building experiences. In this exciting role, you will also support the Avanti Central Team in the end-to-end planning of CPD and induction retreats. Your responsibilities will include developing marketing materials, facilitating school visits and parent meetings, managing budgets, and leading spiritual insight discussions. Ensuring all safeguarding processes are in place, you will continuously enhance the retreat offerings as Avanti Schools expand. This position requires creativity, adaptability, and the ability to connect with students emotionally, making it an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and engaging team member. Note that retreat coordination involves extended hours, for which TOIL will be available. This role can be based anywhere in the UK but will include travel to other locations including London the Southwest and Leicester. Design and implement the retreats program for Avanti Schools Trust, coordinating all aspects of accommodation, travel, and activities. Collaborate with school principals, trip leads, and volunteer staff to ensure smooth and successful retreats. Work with the marketing team to create promotional materials and campaigns for retreats targeting students and parents. Manage budgets, finances, and administrative tasks, including raising purchase orders and invoices. Develop and lead small-group spiritual insight discussions and sessions, ensuring high-quality experiences for all participants. Why should you apply You will be working in a fantastic environment. Proven experience in the end-to-end organisation of school retreats, including activities, catering, registrations, marketing, payments, safeguarding, transport, and logistics. Ability to liaise and collaborate effectively with both external and internal stakeholders. Commitment to the safeguarding and welfare of all students Experience in managing budgets and finances, ensuring accurate and efficient handling of funds. Proficiency in hosting group discussions and activities, particularly for students, to create engaging and insightful experiences.
