Randstad is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Teacher to join our dynamic team, working with children aged 5-11 in the Chesterfield area. This day-to-day position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact starting in September 2024.

Role and Responsibilities:

- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and interactive lessons that align with the primary school curriculum and cater to the diverse needs of students.

- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where every child feels valued, supported, and encouraged to reach their full potential.

- Use a variety of teaching strategies and resources to engage students and promote active learning experiences.

- Assess student progress regularly through formative and summative assessments, providing timely feedback to students, parents, and colleagues.

- Collaborate with fellow teachers and school staff to develop and implement effective teaching practices and curriculum enhancements.

- Establish and maintain strong relationships with students, parents, and caregivers, fostering open communication and partnership in the educational process.

- Uphold high standards of behavior management and classroom discipline, ensuring a safe and respectful learning environment for all.

Requirements:

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.

- Previous experience teaching primary school children, preferably in a similar setting.

- Enhanced DBS check on the update service (or willingness to apply for one) is essential.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, colleagues, and parents.

- Flexibility, adaptability, and a genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
