SEND Manager
Pro rata of £42,067 - £45,974 per annum (i.e. £21,033.50 - £22,987)
18.5 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
Brighton Met College is recruiting for a SEND Manager within the SEND and Additional Learning Support Team. As our SEND Manager, you will support the Head of SEND and Additional Learning Support and Management Team to develop, implement and monitor strategies, processes and policies to drive the area forward to maintain a grade 1 provision.
Our SEND Manager will possess strong leadership skills and must have teaching experience within Further Education to deliver outstanding teaching, learning and assessment and outstanding support for learners. This role requires training to be delivered to cross college staff.
As our SEND Manager, you will have a working and current understanding of the SEND Code of Practice and an understanding of the High Needs Funding process and its associated paperwork along with the time management skills to meet targets and deadlines.

The successful applicant will be given remission from their timetabled teaching hours (hours to be confirmed at interview).
