About the role

Base Location: Glasgow

Salary: £40,600 - £61,100 + car allowance + performance-related bonus + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.

Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time | Flexible First options available

What is the Role?

We have a number of Safety Advisor opportunities on offer to support us on our net zero journey. Ensuring a healthy, happy and safe workplace is vital on our pathway to 2030.

These roles, which are primarily office based, can be performed from any of the above locations across Scotland.

By focussing on safety in design, CDM compliance and early Contract Partner engagement, the successful candidate(s) will play a key role in setting up our onshore and offshore worksites for success.

This advert is to work on our Eastern Green Link joint venture projects with National Grid.

What do I need?

To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:

- You should have demonstrable qualifications and experience in safety on large construction projects, with a pragmatic, flexible, people centred approach.

- You should have sound knowledge and application of Health & Safety legislation, in particular Construction (Design & Management) Regulations 2015.

- You'll demonstrate professional internal and external stakeholder management skills to drive cross business collaboration to build a high performing, commercially and customer focused safety culture.

- You should hold a professional qualification in Occupational Safety (e.g. NEBOSH Certificate or above). Membership of IOSH is also preferred.
