This consultancy, based in Manchester City Centre, brings a friendly and caring atmosphere across the office with regular team outings and a real sense of comradery. You will be working in different sectors, which include: Residential, Commercial, Health, Education, and Data Centres amongst others, which will keep you very busy and offer great project exposure.
Your new role
On top of completing designs across the sectors mentioned above, as a Senior Engineer, you will be mentoring junior staff and with your wisdom on up-and-coming junior engineers. You will also be attending client meetings, internal stakeholder meetings and taking a leading role in the process of projects. Although based in Manchester, your schemes will be UK-wide, increasing the interesting range of both sectors and projects you will be involved in, with key clients being the likes of the University of York, BAE, South Clyde Energy, Manchester Airport Group, and Luton Dart.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you will have a degree/ HNC/ HND in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services or similar. You will possess a minimum of 8 years' UK Building Services experience and the ability to speak with clients and internal stakeholders. As mentioned above, this role will also include supporting junior staff, so the ability to pass information quickly and clearly will be crucial.
