Know Aberystwyth and Ceredigion well and familiar with other tourism highlights of Wales?
The Ceredigion tourism service is looking to appoint an enthusiastic, organised and welcoming individual to join the busy Aberystwyth Tourist Information Centre and Ceredigion Museum Shop Team, as Tourist Information Assistant, over the summer period, on a casual contract basis.
A Tourist Information Assistant provides assistance and information to visitors and local residents about the town, area and beyond, and provides retail assistance for the Ceredigion Museum Shop which is located in the premises located in Aberystwyth town centre.
The Tourist Information Centre is open to the public from 10:00 – 17:00, Monday to Saturday. As a casual worker, you may be offered work during these times. You will have the flexibility to accept or decline the hours offered.
The ability to converse in a foreign language is desirable.
