Senior Lecturer - School of Optometry and Vision Sciences, Cardiff University (based in Swansea/ Neath).
The School of Optometry and Vision Sciences, Cardiff University has worked with Health Boards to establish a ‘teach and treat clinic’ in Swansea and/or Neath Port Talbot. We are seeking motivated and forward-thinking optometrists to work as part time Senior Lecturers in the clinic to provide high quality clinical practice and teaching.
We’d like to hear from you if you are an optometrist who is GOC registered with a Diploma in Glaucoma and a Diploma in Therapeutic Prescribing (Independent Prescribing) or a Diploma in Therapeutic Prescribing (Independent Prescribing) or a Higher Certificate in Medical Retina.
Our School is at an exciting cornerstone in its development of education as many people with eye conditions are now seen and treated by an optometrist. We are very much looking forward to welcoming new talent to our team to help support this development in our profession.

Salary: £59,241 – £64,914 per annum, pro rata (Grade 8). Appointments to roles at Cardiff University are usually made at bottom of scale unless in exceptional circumstances.
