About The Role
Here at EKFB we are looking to recruit an experienced GIS Lead to join our team in Milton Keynes!
If you are a GIS professional with a strong background in ESRI and FME, this position is ideal for you! The desired candidate the team are looking for will demonstrate exceptional team leadership skills and have a knack for managing complex projects.
As a Geographic Information System Lead you will oversee a dynamic GIS team who are delivering the civil engineering works on two sections of the HS2 project. You will oversee the delivery of GIS data, ensuring quality assurance and compliance within the project program.
Your main role as a GIS Lead will be to guide and manage our award-winning team, ensuring adherence to our project's employer's information requirements, whilst optimizing our investment in the latest geospatial technology from ESRI and FME. You will drive project execution and make critical decisions regarding technical approach, cost implications, and project scheduling. Whilst developing trusted-advisor relationships with senior management and client team members, you will also be required to promote the use of GIS and its benefits.
In this role, not only will you manage a diverse project portfolio, but you will also have the chance to raise the profile of the team through sharing outputs and best practice working, in conjunction with the communications team.

About The Candidate

- Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in a relevant discipline.
- Strong experience with ESRI and FME.
- Working towards or have attained CGeog status.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Full UK driving license is required for Ad Hoc travel
