I am seeking a dedicated QA Technician to join the night shift team, working 4 on 4 off schedule from 6am till 6pm, with a 1.5-hour unpaid break. If you have previous QA or food handling experience in a food manufacturing environment, an understanding of HACCP, and an intermediate certificate in food hygiene, we want to hear from you.
As a QA Technician, your key responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing the manufacturing process, plant hygiene, GMP, and conducting internal audits.
- Inspecting raw materials and packaging deliveries to ensure quality standards.
- Performing daily GMP audits of the warehouse, factory exterior, and office block areas.
- Conducting regular checks on packing lines to ensure products meet specifications.
- Verifying the functionality of equipment like weight checkers and metal detectors.
- Ensuring date coding and labelling of finished goods are accurate and meet customer requirements.
- Conducting traceable raw materials and packaging quality and developing technical reviews of supplies.
- Continuously checking quality procedures, such as metal detection, weight checks, product seals, bar code verification, and more.
- Taking immediate corrective actions for any deviations from specifications and recording all tests in the Quality Finished Product and Check Weigh Forms.
