Join our Team at Mangotsfield CofE Primary School (BS16) as a Clerical Assistant (Attendance)
Start Date: 2nd September 2024
Contract: Permanent
Salary: Grade 12, £23,114 FTE p.a.
(Actual Salary Based on Hours and Weeks Worked: £8,900.36 p.a.)
Hours: 17 per week (Monday – Friday) *role requires 2 x termly attendance meetings with EWO – hours for this built into weekly contract Term-time only excluding INSET days (38 weeks per year)
The Role:We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Clerical Assistant - Attendance Officer to work with our Admin Team.
To be responsible for maintaining school attendance records to ensure the safeguarding of the schools learners.
Applicants need to demonstrate an ability and willingness to undertake a range of general clerical duties to support the registering of whole school attendance in the morning.
We are looking for a colleague who has excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience of working in a school office and knowledge of Arbor and school systems would be advantageous.
Fluency Duty:
This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to converse at ease with pupils, parents and other users and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
