Recruiting exclusively through CMA, our client is a very well established and sizable organisation who are currently looking to recruit an experienced Financial Controller as a key member of their Senior Leadership Team based near to Poole, Dorset.

What will the Financial Controller role involve?

• Managing a team of qualified management and financial accountants and overseeing all group and subsidiary accounting activities including stock, fixed assets, Group and Subsidiary accounts.
• Building effective relationships across the business to continually review and drive improvements in systems, process and controls.
• Close liaison with all key stakeholders, both internally and externally including auditors and tax advisors.
• Ensuring the integrity of systems and compliance for all regulatory and external reporting.
• Overseeing the audit process as the key contact for the external auditors, whilst also supporting all internal audit activities and ensuring the necessary improvements are made from any audit recommendations.
• Overseeing the production of annual accounts for all entities.
• Providing support to wider finance team to minimise tax costs and ensure all tax returns are complete and accurate, maximising tax recovery.
• Supporting the CFO in presenting various reports to Directors.

Suitable Candidate for the Financial Controller vacancy:

• Fully qualified with post qualified experience at Financial Controller level.
• Experienced in the production of statutory accounts and management of external audits.
• Strong staff management skills.
