Askham Bryan College is a specialist land-based college based across the North of England with centres in York, Middlesbrough, Saltaire, Wakefield and Newcastle.
We offer a wide-ranging curriculum to our Further Education students, including Agriculture, Horticulture, Animal Management, Countryside and the Environment, Engineering, Equine, Floristry, Motorsport, Outdoor Adventure Sport, Sports Development, Coaching and Fitness, Uniformed Public Services and Veterinary Nursing.
We also have a thriving University Centre at York offering a range of courses from Foundation degrees to Masters level.
We are currently recruiting for an experienced and passionate Learning Support Practitioner for our York campus to provide additional learning support and individual support for students who have high needs and SEND, to enable them to enjoy a fully inclusive college experience and to achieve and progress.
We would expect applicants to have an understanding and experience of some of the following Special Educational Needs - Autism, ADHD, dyslexia, social, emotional difficulties, speech, language and communication difficulties, dyspraxia and moderate to severe general learning difficulties.

- Engage in intimate or personal care or healthcare or any overnight activity, even if this happens only once.
