Job Title: PMVA Trained Support Worker
Location: Leicester, Leicestershire
Rate of Pay: From £24960 pro rota + additional sleep-in.
Hours: Full Time, Permanent
Are you looking for a fulfilling role supporting those with complex needs?
Here at Social Care and Education we are looking for an experienced and professional support worker to join one of our clients on a permanent basis in Leicestershire. As a permanent member of staff, you would be required to have previous experience in support within a professional setting. We are looking for candidate who is fun and willing to give their all to the service users they will be supporting.
Your responsibilities may include:
• Assisting individuals with daily living tasks, such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and household chores.
• Providing emotional support and companionship to service users and promoting well-being.
• Administering medication as prescribed and ensuring adherence to care plans.
• Implementing behaviour management strategies in accordance with CPI/MAPA training to ensure the safety and dignity of all individuals.
Requirements:
• PMVA training certificate
• Previous experience with Challenging Behaviour
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for supporting others.
• Are happy to continue to learn and reflect to always improve the support being provided and yourself.
• Be able to work collaboratively and as part of a wider team.
• Full UK Driving Licence and ability to drive a mobility car.
