Creating their customers’ canvas prints has never been easier – using their state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities, coupled with robotics, manufacturing and print automation, they are able to manufacture and dispatch orders placed before 4 pm, same day, on a next working day service.
They have seen rapid growth year on year. As the Print Room Operator, you’ll be responsible for ensuring all jobs are printed on time and assuming secondary responsibility for the management and overall operations of the manufacturing team (primary responsibility belongs to the Warehouse Operations Manager), playing a part in ensuring that production KPIs are being met whilst assisting in leading and motivating the warehouse team.
Please note- Paid Sunday work is a requirement for the 6 Sundays before Christmas only at the OT rate of £20 ph.
Are you the right person for the job?
• Large format digital print operator: two years (required)
• Experience using grand format printers such as the EFI Vutek H5R. Including maintenance, loading/reloading: one year (required)
• Experience managing multiple wide format printers in a fast-paced production environment
• A strong background as an experienced large format digital printer is essential
• Knowledge of large/wide format digital printing processes
• Proven experience in managing a team of production staff, ensuring deadlines will be met, meeting production KPIs
• Caldera RIP Software: one year (preferred)
• Experience using Zund / Esko Cutters (preferred)
• Team Leader / Supervisor: one year (preferred)
• Excellent organisational skills. You are expected to be a quick and analytical thinker, solving any production problems that arise. (problem solving / prioritisation / initiative)
• Excellent communication skills
• Charismatic personality + team leadership skills
What will your role look like?
• You will lead print production by operating our printer equipment and guide your team in production areas such as Cutting, Quality Control, Product Assembly, and Packing
