Summary
Job Description and Skills
Welland Power is a leading UK manufacturer of diesel generators and part of the Xeinz Group. We have a dedicated team who love their roles and helping our customers to get the best out of their power solutions.
This role will involve the following key activities, although a wide variety of activities may be undertaken in a working week. This list should not be deemed exhaustive.
Wiring of our generator range.
Testing our range of generators.
Assembly of panels to fit on our generator range.
Being tidy, thoughtful and helping other members of the team.
Working in a friendly team of people.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have all the below; however, we recognise that some suitable candidates may not have all the below and require some training.
Applicants who hold none of the below should consider applying for a different role.
Have some electrical assembly experience; either as a hobby, maintaining equipment / buildings, as a handyman or previously in a workplace environment.
GCSE Maths at Grade 4(C) or Above (preferred, but optional)
GCSE English at Grade 4(C) or Above (preferred, but optional)
Be friendly, outgoing and work well as part of a team.
