Lecturer in Agricultural Engineering - Welding - Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver captivating lectures, practical demonstrations, and workshops covering welding techniques, processes, and safety procedures.
- Create and update curriculum materials to reflect industry standards and best practices.
- Provide constructive feedback and guidance to enhance student learning and progress.
- Lead practical training sessions in our welding labs, ensuring strict adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Work with colleagues to design innovative teaching methods and assessments, boosting student engagement and achievement.
- Contribute to the creation of new welding courses and initiatives to meet industry needs.
- Participate in departmental meetings, committees, and professional development activities to continually improve and excel in teaching.
Lecturer in Agricultural Engineering - Welding - You:
- Experience: Proven track record in Welding, with hands-on industry experience. Strong knowledge of welding processes and equipment, including MIG, TIG, ARC, and oxy-acetylene welding.
- Qualifications: Level 3 NVQ in Welding or a related field. We welcome applications from both qualified Lecturers and subject professionals eager to transition into teaching.
- Passion: A genuine enthusiasm for teaching and mentoring students.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire.
