We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated Learning Support Assistant to join our inclusive and successful primary school to work in our KS2 Team. We hope to recruit someone who is able to support all aspects of teaching and learning including working alongside the class teacher with the day to day management of the classroom as well as working with individuals and small groups of pupils leading interventions. Some experience of working with pupils with special educational needs would be a bonus.

Experience is desirable, but not essential. You will be well supported by the team and will also receive plenty of development and training opportunities. Building positive relationships with the children is absolutely key at our school so the successful candidate will need to demonstrate empathy, positivity and be seen as a role model to our pupils. Our aim is to make a difference to all our children’s lives.

Our ideal applicant will also have:

• Good basic English and maths skills
• Enjoy working in a team
• High expectations of all pupils with their behaviour and achievement
