What skills and experience we're looking for
Queen Mary’s Grammar School, Walsall, is an invigorating and rewarding place to work: the pupils are engaged and committed to study; the staff are intelligent, friendly and forward-looking.
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, dynamic and dedicated Teacher of Spanish to join our collaborative and flourishing Modern Foreign Languages department. Our ideal candidate will be a Spanish specialist who can teach excellent dynamic lessons, incorporating a wide range of ICT within their skill set, up to A Level. The ability to teach French is desirable, but not essential.
Informal visits to the school are encouraged. We would also be happy to discuss the school and the role in more detail via a phone conversation. Please contact Simran Sahota (Executive Assistant) to arrange this, by emailing s.sahota@qmgs.merciantrust.org.uk.
Applications should be made using the application form available from the Mercian Trust Recruitment Portal accompanied by a supporting statement of no more than two sides of A4 in which you should set out how your experience and expertise match the requirements of the role. An applicants’ information pack is also available from the recruitment portal. Closing date: Thursday 20 June 2024 Interviews: W/C Monday 24 June
