Our client is seeking motivated and reliable Warehouse Operatives to join their dynamic team. As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the warehouse. Position: Warehouse Operative
Location: Wakefield
Hours: 6am-2pm or 2pm-10pm – set shift, Monday-Friday
Pay: £11.74-£13.27 per hour
Responsibilities:
Receive, unload, and check incoming shipments for accuracy and damages.
Inspect, label, and store products in designated warehouse locations.
Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipping according to company standards.
Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet trucks, with care and precision.
Maintain a clean and organised warehouse space to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred but not required.
Familiarity with warehouse equipment and operations is a plus.
Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
Attention to detail and the ability to follow safety protocols.
