JOB DESCRIPTION

Part-time Personal Assistant

A LITTLE ABOUT MYSELF

I am a lady in my 30s living in the Cowbridge area with my teenage daughter, who is home-educated, and our animals. I have Fibromyalgia, C-PTSD, and some other health issues. I can be shy at first, but once I get to know someone and feel comfortable, I am kind, friendly, and chatty. I enjoy most things creative; I like swimming, going out for food or coffee. I love watching films, going to the cinema, and most of all, music, whether that’s listening to it at home or attending a concert. I like to go out for cocktails and chat. My conditions can get in the way of going out and doing the things I enjoy, but I work hard to still do the things I love to the best of my ability or with assistance. I like things in order, and I like everything in its place. I struggle with pain and chronic fatigue, so I regularly burn out, which causes me anxiety as I am not very good at asking for help.

PURPOSE OF JOB

I am looking to employ a Personal Assistant to support me within my home and to socialise in the community. My daughter supports me outside of school, but I want her to enjoy being a child and be able to socialise rather than worrying about my care.
