Full Time Retail Sales Assistant
Scunthorpe
5 days a week over 7
Monday to Friday with Saturday or Sunday on a rota

We have a great opportunity for a Full Time Retail Sales Assistant to join the team at our Scunthorpe bed and furniture store to provide exceptional service to our customers in store. You will play a vital part in helping serve customers and keeping the branch running smoothly - experience with our products is not necessary, if you bring great customer service and team working skills to the table, we will give you everything you need to succeed.
Conveniently located at Snowdonia Avenue Scunthorpe. The Bed Shop has been providing the local area with the widest range of beds and furniture for almost 50 years so it’s no wonder we have built up a strong customer base and a reputation for being the areas first choice. The store opening hours are Monday to Saturday 9.30am – 6pm and Sunday 10.30am – 4pm.

As a Retail Sales Assistant with The Bed Shop Group, some of your responsibilities will include:
• Provide exceptional service to customers in branch, to deliver upon our reputation for quality and service
• Use product knowledge to provide recommendations and help customers find the best product for their needs
• Developing sales of the Company product range
• Build relationships with customers to fully identify their needs and allow us to provide a comprehensive service
• Promote seasonal and special items, including merchandising goods in-store to increase visibility and sales
• Assisting with stock maintenance in the branch

Who we are looking for to join our team:
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills, to understand and translate customer requirements into product recommendations
• Approachable, possessing an open and friendly personality - happy to help both customers and colleagues
• Enjoys working and supporting a team, but can always be relied upon to work as an individual
• Willing to attend training as required
• Keen to learn, develop skills, and progress within our company
• Previous retail experience or product knowledge would be advantageous but not essential, as full training will be given to the right candidate
