Are you looking to work in a vibrant school community?



We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to play a key
role in our dedicated SEN team as a Learning Support Assistant and have an
impact on the potential of our students.



The Role



You will work with a highly professional team who believe in the
inclusion and success of our students and giving them the best possible
prospects for their future lives.



The role involves supporting students with SEND within the classroom,
working 1:1 and undertaking small group intervention work to help them meet
their potential. You will also be required to undertake first aid training and
will be one of the school’s first aiders.



This is a rewarding job, and we will give you all the training you need
to succeed. There is a potential opportunity with this role to progress via a
worked-based apprenticeship scheme.



We are looking for:



It is important you have a caring, patience and understanding nature and
are someone with warmth, and resilience who wants to make a difference to the
lives of children.



You will also:




• Have good literacy and numeracy skills

• Understand how to motivate, engage and
inspire learning

• Be proactive in supporting students’
needs

• Be relationship driven, and able to
empathise with our students and be supportive

• Be able to work in a team



Experience ofdelivering literacy interventions across year groups
would be an advantage as would experience of supporting students at A Level
(though not essential as training will be given).
