The Best Connection Employment Group are currently seeking a permanent van driver for one of our clients In Rudgwick.The role is hybrid with responsibilities being split between warehouse metal works and deliveries of supplies.Forklift training can be provided by the client as an additional. The successful candidates will possess a current and valid drivers license.
Hours of Work:
Monday to Friday: 07:00-16:00
Rate of Pay:
£12.00PH PAYE
Responsibilities of the Van Drivers: Deliveries & collections of metals for engineering sites. Assist in the warehouse with cutting of metals and moving of supplies within the warehouse. Perform complete pre- and post-operation inspection of the vehicle. Report any safety issues on standard reports. Training provided for forklift use. Adhering to assigned delivery schedule and following all job directives. Follow all required safety policies and procedures. Requirements of the Van Driver: Category B Licence. Van driving experience. Heavy lifting role. Warehouse Working. Due to the location and start times own transport is required.
