We are looking to recruit a passionate, highly motivated and enthusiastic person to join our dedicated team to support learning and behaviour, to be based in our newly established SEN Unit – Spring Meadows. Spring Meadows is a ten-place provision, based within the main school, supporting early years and key stage one age pupils with an ASC or communication & interaction diagnosis.The post holder is required to work 30.25 hours per week (4 days 8.45am to 3.15pm and 1 day 8.45am to 3.30pm).Spring Cottage Primary is an Outstanding (OFSTED November 2023) and successful school. We are the only educational establishment in this area to have achieved status as a Google Reference School and pride ourselves in being innovative and forward thinking. Staff are well supported within a culture of continuous professional development. The successful candidate will: Have completed appropriate qualifications (E.G NVQ level 2).Have proven experience of working with pupils with SEND, in particular Autistic Spectrum condition. Be motivated and able to support with teaching & learning.Be able to work independently, think on their feet and demonstrate resilience. Support pupils to improve their self-esteem, confidence, behaviour and attitude. Have a commitment and passion for inclusive education along with a patient, flexible and positive manner. Understand that every child can be successful in their learning.
