We are seeking a skilled and experienced Tiler to join our team.
As a Tiler, you will be responsible for installing and repairing various types of tiles in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Your precision, attention to detail, and expertise will play a crucial role in creating visually appealing and durable tile installations.
Responsibilities:
- Measure and mark surfaces to be tiled, ensuring accuracy and proper alignment.
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and removing any debris or old tiles.
- Mix and apply adhesives, mortar, or grout to secure tiles in place.
- Cut tiles to fit around obstacles and create seamless edges using appropriate tools.
- Arrange tiles in visually pleasing patterns, taking into consideration color, texture, and size variations. - Maintain consistency in tile spacing and alignment, ensuring a professional finish.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and designers to understand project requirements and expectations.
- Work with various tile materials such as ceramic, porcelain, marble, granite, and glass.
- Ensure that all installations are waterproof and properly sealed to prevent damage and promote longevity. - Repair and replace damaged tiles as needed, matching existing patterns and materials.
- Keep track of inventory and materials, making sure to order necessary supplies in a timely manner.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and practices, minimizing risks associated with working in construction environments.
- Complete projects within specified timelines, meeting quality standards and client satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Tiler, with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse tile installation projects.
- Proficiency in using tile cutting tools, grouting equipment, and adhesives.
- Solid understanding of different tile materials and their characteristics.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and design plans.
- Detail-oriented with a keen eye for aesthetics and design.
- Strong communication skills to interact with clients, team members, and other stakeholders.
- Physical stamina and the ability to work in physically demanding environments. member of our team.
