As a Remote Cleaning Supervisor at Sodexo in You will be travelling to various sites in the Lancashire area. You'll supervise multiple sites and their cleaning services to create a safe and healthy environment. You'll interact with our clients daily these sites are home to ex-offenders, and you'll be improving the quality of life in everyone you meet! Join Sodexo and be part of something greater. What you’ll do:
- Ensure completion of all requested/contracted tasks and motivate your team to effectively ensure these are completed in a timely and thorough manner.
- You’ll be provided a company vehicle along with a fuel card to visit different sites and assist your team to carry out a list of scheduled cleaning tasks.
- In this role, you'll be given a lot of responsibility to ensure yours and you're teams tasks are carried out within the timescales given.
- Use your own initiative in reviewing the impact that your team are having on you're site, as your leadership should pave the way of successful feedback from the client.
- Oversee the ordering of stock and consumables such as toilet tissue, cleaning products and appliances. Also ensuring that a record of this is kept for compliance.
- Be a champion of health and safety practices - spot a near miss? Report it to keep your colleagues safe!
- Ensure regular safety walks are completed, to pick up any hazards.
- Frequent feedback sessions with your team, to ensure they are confident and happy in their roles.
What you bring:
- Full UK driving license
- Previous experience in a similar role, with knowledge of cleaning solutions and their uses is desirable, as well as some team leading experience.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Can work at a fast pace and adapt to change when needed
- Be a team player and take instruction
