We have a vacancy for a Bank Cook to work as part of the Hotel Services Team at the 11 bedded inpatient unit in Lincoln.

You will be working as a member of a small team but expected to work with others and independently to support cover for sickness absence and annual leave. There are two shifts every day which cover the hours from 7:30am to 7pm. We provide home cooked, wholesome food for patients, staff and visitors with small demand for function catering. We strive to provide high quality products which are served in a manner which patients can enjoy, this can mean fluctuating demand however quality should never be compromised. Cooks on duty support menu planning, ordering, deliveries, meal preparation and service and cleaning. Our kitchen has a 5 * food safety rating.

Qualifications and Experience:

Applications are welcome from candidates with:

Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
Either City & Guilds 706/1 and 706/2 or Equivalent vocational qualification (e.g. NVQ level 2), or experience of work using fresh ingredients to produce homecooked wholesome products.

DBS: A DBS Check is required for this role.

Base: Inpatient Unit, Lincoln, LN2 1RE

Contract: Bank

Hours: As and when required.

Band: Y

Salary: From £12.82 to £13.24 per hour, plus weekend unsocial hours enhancement of 30% .
