Sunshine Scooters & Mobility are seeking a motivated, enthusiastic, and conscientious sales assistant to join our team in our Boston, Lincolnshire store.
Sunshine Scooters are a mobility equipment and daily living aid supplier and have a passion and focus for giving excellent customer service and providing independence to those who need it most.
Our Sales Assistants work together as a team to ensure the store is clean, tidy and well-ordered so that customers can get the products they need. Shifts will include weekends, weekdays and public holidays. Overtime may also be available during peak periods.
Candidates should have a keen interest in learning about the products within the store to ensure they can provide information and guidance to our customers. Some of the products that we sell are mobility scooters, wheelchairs, walking aids, daily living aids and rise & recliner chairs.
What you'll do:
- Help customer select medical & mobility products most suited for their needs
- Help conduct repairs, servicing, fitting of parts if/when required
- Unpack stock as deliveries arrive in store
- Maintain stock levels and order new stock when required
- Provide excellent customer service
- Help our customers with any questions or queries they may have
- Keep the store clean, tidy and presentable
- Answer telephone inquiries
What you'll need
- Experience of working in a retail sales environment
- Experience within the mobility sector preferred but not essential
- Some technical/mechanical ability preferred but no essential
- The flexibility to work changing shifts/weekends/public holidays
- The initiative to identify tasks that need to be completed
- The drive to work hard and contribute to the success of your store
- A friendly communication style with the team and customers
- Experience in providing excellent customer service
