If you would like to be part of a team that supports the delivery of excellent patient care, then we would love to hear from you.

The eRostering Team support staff and managers to ensure the right people are in the right place, at the right time – 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year. We maintain multiple software systems and provide support and training to all staff groups at the hospital.

We are looking for someone who has experience of delivering exceptional service with a passion for learning and training. The department is fast paced, so we are looking for team player who can prioritise and work to tight deadlines. Once you are fully trained, you will have the opportunity to work flexibly from home some of the time.

We would love to hear from you if you have experience of using an electronic roster system, working with data to improve patient care and staff experience, and/or working for the NHS – but enthusiasm and a desire to develop and maintain excellent working relationships at all levels of the organisation are just as important to us.

To support the eRostering Team to efficiently deliver rostering technology across Care Groups, driving continuous improvement and delivery of high-quality care through great teamwork. This includes:



• Being an expert for the eRostering systems (HealthRoster)

• Act as an eRostering specialist for RCHT, providing expert support to the Trust users.

• Be led by the eRostering lead to provide best roster practice support to all users and escalate any issues.

• Act as a role model for impeccable customer care and communication skills, using a flexible approach.

• Provide support and training on all functions of the HealthRoster modules.

(HealthRoster, Safecare, Roster Perform, Bankstaff, MEapp)

• To produce eRostering reports and build upon reports.

• Build training guides and SOP’s and review for continuous improvement.

• Keep the eRostering internet page up to date.

• Monitor performance of rosters and work with your roster lead to improve performance.

• Support the configuration of eRoster data.

• Ensure the system has accurate records.

• Support the team with maintenance of Health Roster in accordance with governance and safe management in all related systems.

• Monitor and ensure mandatory training/ skills and competencies for all rostered staff are maintained.

• Undertake additional tasks as required.

The Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust (RCHT) is the main provider of acute and specialist care services in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. We serve a population of around 500,000 people - a figure that can increase significantly with

The following are a selection of the knowledge, skills and experiences that are required from the post holder; further requirements are outlined in the attached person specification:



• Experience of working electronic systems

• Experience of advising and supporting managers in good practice

• Excellent interpersonal skills

• Ability to quickly establish rapport and credibility with others in the team and across the Trust.

• Experience of supporting and facilitating team working.

• Experience of pulling reports and using excel.
