About the role
As our retail stock controller, you will work closely with our buyer, merchandiser and retail team to ensure the smooth flow of product from supplier to Newcastle United.

You will manage the inflow of our kit partner, along with other suppliers to ensure all stock is delivered into our warehouse, then onto our retail business, with limited disruption.

You will work closely with our third-party warehouse, to ensure a steady stream of replenishment into store to ensure that our retail stores always have the correct levels of stock.

You will be responsible for the uploading of all supplier orders into system in a timely manner ahead of delivery.

Likewise, you will monitor and manage delivery discrepancies ensuring any over or under deliveries are managed and rectified to limit disruption. Also liaising with suppliers to rectify any faulted stock leading to credit.

Your impact
You will have significant experience working in a similar role, with a strong background in the retail sector ideally in a sports, fashion or department store.

You will have a sound knowledge of retail ERP systems, with the ability to manage suppliers and vendors.

You will be highly numerate, with a good knowledge of financial reporting being able to use data to drive decisions.

You can work in a fast paced, high pressured environment with good data and administration skills.

About the team
You will work in our Buying and Merchandising team and will be part of our wider Retail and Licensing team. You will report to our Head of Buying and Merchandising and will work closely with our Ecommerce and Stores teams.
