To deliver this, you will have:

Substantial experience in delivering financial services within a large, complex organisation and the ability to work at scale.
An adaptable, transparent approach, and you will use your ability to influence and collaborate with diverse council colleagues and partners to help the council to achieve its priorities.
The ability to work in a political environment and form positive working relationships with Councillors, Directors, and other Senior Leaders.
Be skilled in strategic financial planning and reporting, analysing and interpreting financial data.
Lead a Corporate Finance team providing support to the council including co-ordination and oversight of budget monitoring, treasury management, capital investment and financing, taxation and medium-term financial planning.
Why us?

You will have the opportunity to work in a diverse, high-performing finance service.
You will be able to work flexibly, including some working from home.
The team and service is supportive, friendly, and sociable.
