A full-time, live-out Nanny is needed for a warm and friendly family of three based in Helmdon, Northamptonshire, to help care for their lovely six-month-old daughter.
This wonderful long-term role involves working five days a week, Monday to Friday, with the addition of two Saturdays per month, which will be agreed with you in advance. Your working hours will be Monday and Wednesday from 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Tuesday and Thursday from 10:00 AM to 7:30 PM, Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and two Saturdays per month from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The hourly rate for this role is £16 gross per hour. The little girl’s grandparents live in the village and will provide wrap-around and some overnight care during the week when Mum and Dad may be away for work.
Responsibilities include taking the little girl to local fun and age-appropriate classes, ensuring she is stimulated and learning from her surroundings, supporting her milestones including weaning and potty training, and encouraging interaction with other children. You will also be responsible for booking and taking her to appointments, such as doctor’s visits. There will be a few light housekeeping tasks such as meal preparation, laundry, and keeping the busier areas of the home tidy; however, a cleaner is employed to stay on top of the home. The family also has a well-behaved and very affectionate Jack Russell.
The family would love to have a Nanny who enjoys travel and who will occasionally accompany them on holidays or work trips. The ideal candidate for this role is an experienced, proactive nanny looking for longevity, someone who enjoys planning fun days out as well as home-based activities for the little girl, and someone who uses initiative around the home to help this busy family.
The start date for this role is early September 2024; however, there may be an opportunity to join the family on a two-week holiday at the end of August.
