We are currently seeking a talented instructor in food hygiene to join our Commercial Services team on a timesheet, 12-month fixed term contract.
The Commercial Development and Delivery Team are responsible for delivering certified and bespoke professional courses, SVQs, MAs and Open Learning courses, in a college that aims to be one step ahead.

Who we are looking for.
We are looking for a Hospitality or Food Manufacturing professional with knowledge and experience working in these sectors.
This role will provide professional, high quality training courses such as Food Hygiene, HACCP, Allergen Awareness & Cross Contamination.
While representing the College, you will offer high quality customer service in all you do.
Development opportunities will be available to support those new to delivery.
Responsibilities:
• To develop and deliver short certificated and bespoke training courses.
• Work with the Commercial Development and Delivery Team for short courses to develop the programme of courses available, develop course materials, core packs and if required assessments.
• Comply with awarding body policies including assessment.
• Guide and supervise the work of course participants.
• Develop and deliver bespoke training solutions that meet the needs of the organisation that has funded the training.
• Assess and support leaners towards completion of qualifications.
• Organise and maintain documentation relative to assignments and learner’s progress.
• Provide group and 1:1 tutorial support and feedback to leaners.
• Attend appropriate moderation group and external development team meetings as required.
• Submit work for moderation as requested through college moderation system.
Qualifications and requirements:
• You will be educated to SCQF Level 7 or have relevant skills and experience in a Food Hygiene environment.
• Experience of working in a relevant role is essential.
• Experience of delivering certificated training courses is desirable.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Strong customer service/ organisation/ teamworking/ relationship building skills.
• Experience using MS Office
