Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a Delivery/Service Engineer to work out of our Stevenage locations. Full Training will be given. Working around 37 hours per week Monday to Friday 9am - 5:00pm including some weekends. You will be Delivering and Servicing products such as rise recliner chairs, beds, mobility scooters, wheelchairs, bathing equipment etc. Training will be given on products where required. When not servicing products you will be expected to assist in the local shop these duties will include: Telephone communication with clients, potential clients and suppliers: Admin duties by both computer and paper methods: Sales of mobility and medical aids ranging from walking sticks through to electric wheelchairs and scooters: Deliveries and installations: Helping and advising clients looking for assistance with their disabilities. Maintaining and servicing mobility equipment. Collecting and returning equipment to customers.

Our Engineers are responsible for diagnosing and repairing faulty products in our customers’ homes. Requirements:
• It's not essential that you have experience as full training will be given. However if you have any experience in a garage or with bikes or some technical ability. This will be a massive benefit.
• Full driving license: Possess a valid driving license to facilitate product deliveries and other transportation needs. Eligibility to work in the UK
• Must be able to lift 30kgs
• Technical competence: PC literacy and proficiency in using software systems for customer setup and support.
• Customer service skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers at all levels and provide outstanding service.
• Attention to detail: Meticulous attention to detail in diagnosing faults, performing repairs, and documenting information accurately.
• Problem-solving abilities: Ability to think on your feet, analyse issues, and quickly devise effective solutions.
• Independence: Demonstrated capability to work independently, manage tasks, and prioritize workload efficiently. Strong organizational skills to handle multiple tasks, manage inventory, and maintain a clean work environment.
• Professional presentation: Maintain a neat, tidy, and presentable appearance when interacting with customers and representing the company. Maintaining the cleanliness of company vehicle inside and out.
