Your new company
I am working with a small charity, based in the heart of London, and we are looking for a Compliance and Risk Analyst. You will be joining a small nonprofit which aims to deliver industry-wide solutions to everyday people in the UK: gas and electricity. You will be working with a range of internal and external stakeholders to test and assure business processes. We are looking for an experienced Analyst from the Public, Regulatory or Banking sectors. This nonprofit looks to promote within, so there are a host of development opportunities!
Your new role
The successful candidate will be:
- Developing, implementing and managing controls to reduce risk around Data Protection in line with the Data Protection Law 2018 and GDPR 2016 regulations.
- Supporting the Programme team in developing impact and Data Protection assessments.
- Maintaining the Record of Data Processing activities.
- Managing the Compliance Training Programme and other systems in relation to risk and compliance.
- Attend Governance meetings as a Subject-Matter Expert.
What you'll need to succeed
This position is suitable for candidates who have:
- A background in Compliance and Risk for a Non-Profit, Public Sector, Energy Sector or Regulatory body
- Practical experience of ISO Standards 27001 & 27701
- Experience of working with Data Protection Law 2018 and UK GDPR 2016 regulations
- An understanding of the compliance framework associated with Information Security
