Halo Recruit are working in partnership with one of the UKs leaders in supply chain solutions to recruit for a number of experienced Reach Truck Drivers to work at their site based in Bilsthorpe, Nottinghamshire (8 miles East of Mansfield, and 12 miles West of Newark town centre).
Duties of the Role:
- Moving stock around the warehouse using a Reach Truck / PPT, ensuring that strict health and safety standards are maintained at all times
- Operating a Reach Truck with 360 degree steering, working on fully stacked racking of up to 13m high
- Supporting with general warehousing duties as required, including voice pick, pack, loading and unloading, etc.
The role is working within a temperature-controlled environment where temperatures can reach as low as -20 degrees, however full PPE is provided and the Reach Truck cabs are fully heated.
This is a temp to perm position going permanent with the client after 12 weeks, subject to attendance, performance and conduct.
Desirable Experience:
We are seeking candidates who have previous experience working in an Reach FLT / MHE role, and who are committed and reliable. We are seeking candidates who have previously operated a 360 reach truck, and are comfortable with working on racking of up 13 metres high.
Candidates with in-date RTITB certification are preferred, however in-house can be accepted. All candidates will be required to undertake a pre-employment theory and practical assessment prior to being offered a role.
Hours of Work
- Sunday to Thursday, 2pm - 10pm
Rate of Pay:
This role pays £14.24 per hour, paid weekly in arrears

Location
This role is based in Bilsthorpe, near Newark. Due to the location of the site, own transport is essential as no public transport routes operate in the area.
Contract Start Date & Duration:
This role is due to commence immediately. This is a temp to perm position going permanent with the client after 12 weeks, subject to performance and conduct.
