This role is a key member of the Royal Navy’s Learning and Development Organisation (LDO) and is responsible to the LDO Hub Team Leader for the provision of Learning and Development service provision including.

This role is term time only working 44 weeks per year starting Sept 2024.

What you'll be doing:

• Carrying out supportive and insightful personnel selection and early service leaver interviews in relation to resettlement
• Attending one to one meetings with leavers and phase 1 recruits
• Producing, recording and administering phase 1 recruit documentation
• Signposting personnel for further advice and guidance in relation to learning & training
• Promoting and facilitating opportunities for accessing and funding externally delivered elective learning opportunities (including e-learning courses and materials)
• Proactively raising awareness of Resettlement amongst Service Leavers, to ensure Service Leavers are aware of the Resettlement support to which they are entitled and understand how to access such support

What we're looking for:

• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to write reports
• Good IT skills using Microsoft Office, SharePoint
• Previous experience in a role where you have coached, taught, supported individuals
• Any experience within the Royal Navy, would be an advantage
• Knowledge of the resettlement system, would be an advantage
• Must be able to obtain UK SC clearance
