About the role
East Riding College and Scarborough TEC are looking to appoint an experienced Higher Education professional to lead HE developments across the campuses. This is a critical role within the Senior Leadership Team and the postholder will work closely with Heads of Faculty, teaching staff and the central TEC Partnership HE Quality Team.
Key responsibilities will include:
Maintaining and developing the standard and quality of HE provisions and the effectiveness of teaching and learning.
Leading curriculum innovation and development, including collaborative working with peers, ensuring that our programmes meet the needs of students, the local community, employers and other key stakeholders.
Ensuring that funded provision is fully compliant with relevant funding regulations and policy requirements.
Developing and implementing strategies for growth
Line management of staff associated with HE across multiple college campuses
About the person
The successful candidate will have experience of managing Higher Education in a Further Education setting, including curriculum development and delivery of high quality teaching and learning.
Candidates should also have:
An understanding of Higher Education funding regulations and policies
Experience of Further and Higher Education curriculum development
Experience of change leadership, preferably within Higher Education
Experience of successfully managing a team
Excellent communication skills, including reports and presentations
A solutions-focused approach
The ability to work under pressure
A collaborative approach
